BMW E46 subframe reinforcement

Service Description

The E46 chassis has a know weak point in the chassis where the subframe mounting can tear out. This is caused by BMW not ensuring sufficient steel thickness at the mounting points and over time the material fatigues and tears. The problem occurs faster if the car is driven more aggressively. The only fix to prevent this from happening is to weld in reinforcement plates to the floor. At PRD we can remove your subframe and weld in the reinforcement plates to prevent the issue and put your mind at ease.
